Radios are the easy part. The system is what matters.
Buying a box of handhelds is simple. Getting clear audio in the back of a steel building, on the far side of a job site, or between two locations twenty miles apart is not. That comes down to the system behind the radios: frequencies, repeaters, antennas, talk groups, and how it all gets programmed.
Most of the business customers who call us already have radios. What they have is dead spots, crosstalk with the business next door, batteries that don't last a shift, or a setup nobody has touched since the person who installed it left. We start by looking at where and how your team works, then build the system around that.
Still comparing handsets? Our guide to choosing a two way radio for your business walks through bands, analog vs digital, channels and features.

Business radio systems we design and install
Most businesses fit one of these. Plenty need a mix, and we design for that from the start.
On-site digital radio systems
For one building or property: warehouses, plants, hotels, hospitals, retail and campuses. Clearer audio at the edges of coverage, longer battery life, and private talk groups for each department.
Repeater and trunked systems
More users, more groups, more ground. A repeater or trunked system shares channels across your whole operation so nobody waits for a free line.
Wide area networks
For crews that move between towns or work across a region. Radios stay on one system from Olympia to the coast without relying on cell coverage.
LTE push-to-talk radios
When your team travels beyond any radio network, LTE radios give push-to-talk over the cellular network, statewide or nationwide.
Hybrid systems
Digital radios inside the warehouse, LTE radios in the trucks, one dispatcher talking to both. We design the pieces to work together from day one.
Already have radios?
We reprogram, repair and expand existing systems, and we'll tell you honestly when an upgrade makes more sense than another fix.

Business two way radio systems: common questions
Do I need an FCC license for a business radio system?
Usually, yes. Most business systems operate on licensed frequencies under FCC Part 90. Some low-power license-free radios exist, but they share crowded channels and offer limited range. Read more in do you need a license for two way radios.
Should my business use radio or LTE push-to-talk?
Radio is best for coverage in a defined area with no monthly cellular cost, and it keeps working when cell networks are down. LTE suits teams that travel widely. Many businesses use both, and we can make them work together.
Can you work with the radios we already have?
Often, yes. We can reprogram, repair or expand an existing system, or tell you honestly when it makes more sense to upgrade.
How long does a business radio system last?
A well-designed system often stays in service for 5 to 10 years, with handhelds replaced or added along the way. Planning for growth at the start keeps you from rebuilding later.
Do you only work with large companies?
No. We set up systems for small teams with a handful of radios as well as large multi-site operations. Smaller businesses may find our post on choosing radios for a small business useful.
